Cannot Send Emails - Error: "Failed to send email"

Overview

You are not able to send an email to a contact in Playbooks, encountering the following error:

Failed to send email

Solution

This issue may happen when you are trying to send an email to a prospect who has an invalid email address.

Check if the email address of the prospect is valid using any of the available online services. Once you update the contact record with a valid email address, you should be able to send emails to them.
