Emails are not sending after switching from Exchange to Office 365

Overview

You recently switched from an MS exchange server to Office 365. Since then, emails are not sending and you are receiving an error. The agents in your organization have confirmed that they did not receive a prompt to verify their email address.

 

Information

To be able to send emails again, make sure you complete the following steps as a Manager or Admin:

  1. Change the email provider to Office 365 in the Playbooks Manger App, by following the steps described in the Setting Up Email Access for Microsoft Office 365 (O365) KB Article.

  2. The email connections are different with Exchange compared to Office 365, so the agents in your organization will also need to connect their new emails to Playbooks. That can be done by completing the following steps:

    1. Sign into the Playbooks Chrome Extension.
    2. Click the menu button (Playbooks logo).
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Click Email.
    5. Click Connect.
    6. Select your email account.
    7. Click Allow.
