Can I add an SMS text as a step in a Play ?

You are wondering if you can add an SMS task as a step in a play, just like you can add a call or an email task.

Information

No, you cannot do so at this time. The functionality for adding an SMS texting step to a Play has not been implemented yet. As a workaround, you can instead send an ad-hoc SMS at any time outside of Plays.

NOTE: In order to send SMS, you must have an SMS enabled Direct Inbound Number (DIN) assigned to your account. If you do not have an SMS enabled DIN, you will not see the option to send SMS in Playbooks. LocalPresence numbers cannot be used to send SMS.
