Overview
An employee within the organization has Salesforce access, but every time he tries to download or listen to a call, he gets the Playbooks' login prompt. You are wondering if regular employees can listen to the call recordings without a Playbooks log in, or if it is mandatory to register into the Playbooks platform.
Information
You can find the Playbooks Call Recording by checking the Salesforce section with the same name:
However, to use the link in Salesforce to listen to recordings, the user does need to be set up in Playbooks. This way, Playbooks admins can control access to those recordings.
Once you are set up in Playbooks, you can access a call recording by different methods described in the How do I access a call recording? KB Article.
If someone who isn't set up in Playbooks needs a recording or several recordings, someone with access to those recordings can download them and send them to the person who needs them.
