Troubleshooting Article - This Person Was Never Added To Playbooks Error

Overview

This article explains how to correctly troubleshoot issues where the error message is "This person was never added to Playbooks or their record has been removed" is displayed when:

• Deleted contact appears in daily tasks

• Deleted contact cannot be removed

• Opening a specific task will generate the error message

• Starting Today's Tasks will generate the error message

Add the contact, then try removing

Since the error may occur when a contact record is somehow removed from Playbooks, it may be worth adding the record back into Playbooks to see if that links the stuck task back to the record. See Adding Records to Playbooks for more information. You may now try removing the task and/or the record.

Contact support to have development remove the task

If removing it a second time did not work, a surefire way to have the task removed is to contact customer support with the name of the record and the stuck task that you are seeing. Your customer support agent will then forward your request to the development team to have the record manually removed from the backend. Check Playbooks Status Outage

If all or the majority of tasks cannot be loaded when clicking the Start Today's Tasks button, the issue is caused by an outage that is affecting the communication between Playbooks and your CRM. To confirm if this is the case, go to the Playbooks Status page, locate your region, and check if there are any incidents or scheduled maintenance windows that are affecting the CRM connection or all functionalities in general.

Report Issue to Playbooks Support

 If no incident or maintenance window is reported, but you are still facing the issue, Contact Playbooks Support to report the issue.
