Sorting, Filtering, and Searching for Tasks

Overview

You find that you need to reduce the total number of records you are actively working on. For example, you want to filter your records to find all of your Paused Tasks.

Playbooks allows you to prioritize tasks based on properties that are important to you.

Solution

Using the Sort, Filter, and Search functionality, you can focus your efforts on calls that will bring you success or prospects with the highest Priority Score.

Sorting Tasks

Sort by conventional options, like Last Name or Company Name. Or target specific Plays or Play Steps and accomplish your personal objectives in time frames that make sense for you.

Managers can also Create Custom Sorts to determine the order in which records are prioritized for their Team.

  1. Open the Playbooks Chrome extension
  2. Click the Menu button
  3. Click Tasks
  4. Select an option from the Sort By drop-down
  5. Click the Next Bar to start working tasks in the order displayed

Filtering Tasks

Filter by account, tasks type, task status, and the local time of prospects you are contacting. Using more options will decrease the number of prospects you see as a result of the filter.

  1. Open the Playbooks Chrome extension
  2. Click the Menu button
  3. Click Tasks
  4. Click the Filter button
  5. Optionally select an Account
  6. Optionally select a Task type
  7. Optionally select a Status
  8. Optionally click and drag endpoints to narrow the time frame on the local time bar.
Note: Click the blue X to remove a filter from your view.

Searching Tasks

Playbooks allows you to find tasks based on relevant search terms.

  1. Open the Playbooks Chrome extension
  2. Click the Menu button
  3. Click Tasks
  4. Click the magnifying glass button
  5. Input prospect name or another relevant search term
