Overview
You may want to create an email template with the last name of a prospect as an autotext function (i.e., using merge field {{lastName}}) when working with an Account object.
Information
Currently, if you are working with an Account, there is no way for you to populate the name of an associated contact using Merge fields as there may be multiple customers associated with an Account record (i.e. the system does not know for which prospect to pull the last name).
We recommend using Contact records to have the last name of a prospect auto-populated in your email templates.
