Overview
You are trying to use a merge field, but you cannot find it. The merge field is not appearing in the drop-down choices nor from the magnifying glass.
Solution
Ensure that the merge field was actually added or created successfully:
- Open the Playbooks Manager app
- Go to Settings
- Go to Email
- Scroll down to Merge Fields
- Click Manage
- Look for the merge field that you want to use and make sure it is selected
- Click Save
You should now be able to add the merge field to an email template by clicking the merge field icon (which looks like two arrows forking).
