Overview
You may want to move or migrate your company's Local, Toll Free / RespOrg, or International Number to Playbooks so that our system can handle inbound call routing for that number.
Information
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager providing the below information to have the phone number(s) ported to Playbooks. You will need to authorize Playbooks to be become the Carrier/ RespOrg for your number.
Documentation required when porting numbers for the North America region including Canada:
- The number(s) that you want to port
- Copy of the Bill (no older than 6 months) in PDF format for the number(s) that are requested
-
Letter Of Authorization form - ask your Success Manager to provide the form if you do not have it. Please note that LOA forms are different for Toll Free (RespOrg) and Local number porting requests.
Notes:- The LOA form must match the billing information for the number(s) requested and be dated within 30 days of the request.
- If you are requesting to port multiple numbers from different carriers, you will need to submit a separate LOA form for each carrier.
- Preferred Routing Date when you would like the number(s) to be ported
The porting process may take 10-15 Business Days if the information provided by the customer is correct and matches the records on their Carrier side. The winning Carrier has the authority to reject the documentation(s) if it is not properly filled out. This will result in a delay of the Porting process and may not meet the PRD.
Additional documentation required when porting International numbers is listed below:

Customer Success Managers will submit porting requests to support. Such requests need to be escalated to the SaaS team as described in the routing table, including the customer's information (listed above) provided by the CSM. SaaS team will work with the carrier (Twilio) to port the numbers.
Additionally, include customer's company ID number, and POD (can be checked in the Provision UI Tool if not provided by the CSM).
