Playbooks and Salesforce Performance is Slow or Degraded

Overview

You have noticed that Playbooks is loading very slowly and lagging at random periods of time affecting your daily tasks. When you navigate through the application, it loads extremely slowly. It is taking several minutes for Salesforce and Playbooks instances to load up together. Instead of loading at all, it will freeze up the Salesforce instance (with its tabs). You have worked from multiple locations using different networks, so the problem is not the network, and have cleared the history & cache on chrome for "All time" and nothing changed. Salesforce works fine without opening Playbooks.

Solution

  1. After clearing cache & cookies, make sure to Clear Site Data in Chrome as well.

  2. Disconnect and reconnect your Salesforce CRM. This should resolve the issue. See Disconnecting Playbooks From your Salesforce and Connecting Playbooks to your Salesforce for more information on how to do this.

If this does not resolve your issue, please capture a HAR file for Playbooks in Google Chrome and record a short video evidence of slow performance issue and the steps that lead to it. You can use the Loom tool if that is convenient for you. Then provide the HAR file and video when submitting a support ticket to our team to investigate the issue.

<supportagent> Check the errors in the HAR file provided by the customer and search for them in the knowledge base, historical tickets, and in the internet. If this issue cannot be resolved using any of the troubleshooting steps that you found or the message indicates that there is a problem with the Playbooks server, escalate it to the SaaS team.
