Manually Removing Records from Play or Playbooks

Overview

If one of your contacts from a play wished to be unsubscribed you might want to know how to remove such contacts. Or,  you wish to manually disconnect a contact to make false email notifications stop.

Solution

You can remove the record from the Play by following the steps in the Playbooks extension:

  1. Open an existing People, Account, or Task record.
  2. Click the Play name field.
  3. Click Remove from Play.
  4. Click CONTINUE.
  5. Select a new Play and click SAVE.
    -OR-
    Optionally, leave the prospect unenrolled.

You can entirely remove the contact from Playbooks by following the steps in the Playbooks extension:

  1. Go to Menu > People.
  2. Search for the record you want to remove.
  3. Select the checkbox for the record.
  4. Click the ACTIONS drop-down menu.
  5. Select Delete People.
  6. Click CONFIRM.
