What does the number mean next to a notification icon?

Overview

You would like to understand the notification feature better. For example, you see an envelope icon with a number 3 next to it. You know that the envelope icon means that the customer has opened the email, but you would like to confirm what the 3 means.

Information

The number represents how many times the action has happened. For example, if you see a 3 in the bubble next to an envelope, then that means the email has been opened 3 times.

Playbooks provides you with more than just email open notifications. It gives you additional insight about how your message is being received. The following list describes the 5 types of email notifications Playbooks sends you. While the Bell icon indicates how many total notifications you have, the number on each individual notification indicates how many times that action happened.

1. Email Bounced – Your email was not delivered. This indicates a bad email address or other email system failure.
   
2. Link Clicked – A prospect clicked on one of the hyperlinks included in your email message.
   
3. Attachment Downloaded – A prospect downloaded at least one attachment sent in your email message.
   
4. Email Opened – A prospect opened your email message.
   
   
   
5. Email Forwarded – A prospect forwarded your email message to another individual.
