Overview
You are experiencing delays of several seconds (around 1-2 seconds) when calling through Playbooks which makes impossible to have a normal conversation. The issue seems to have started recently, all of the sudden and it doesn't seem to be restricted to a certain region as you are calling from different locations (I.E. UK, Ireland, Germany).

You can consult your IT team to discover what type of codec is being used by your Softphone. Make sure that the codec used by the softphone you implemented in your company is G711. Codec G711 is the one Playbooks recommends for a Good Quality call.
If you find out that your Softphone is using G722 codec, change either the codec used by your calling system OR change the whole softphone software.
- As there are many in the market, we cannot provide support over this change. However, some devices allow configuring G.711, G.722, G.729, and G.723.1 codec settings for Device Adapter.
