Drift calendar link in signature is being clicked but no meetings are being scheduled in Playbooks

Overview

Your email signature contains a calendar link to schedule a meeting with Drift. You are noticing click-throughs on this link, but no meetings are being created in Playbooks Calendar for you to follow up on.

Solution

Drift is a separate product that is not affiliated nor integrated with Playbooks. If you want your prospects to be able to schedule meetings with you and to have those meetings show up in Playbooks Calendar, then you will need to send them your Playbooks Calendar meeting link instead. See Connecting Calendar to Playbooks for more information on setting up your Playbooks Calendar, and see Adding Calendar Links to Emails for more information on Playbooks Calendar links. Your calendar meeting link can be found on the email signature editor, under Settings > Email > Email Signature.

Testing

After that you have updated your email signature to include a link to schedule a meeting with Playbooks Calendar, you can now send a test email to an address that you can access in order to see the link in action. When a prospect or customer clicks on the calendar link from an email, they are brought to the representative’s calendar where they can find a time when they are both available to meet.

Once an individual clicks schedule, a meeting confirmation email is sent to the representative’s inbox and an event appears on the representative’s calendar. An invite is sent to the prospect as well. Representatives will be notified before the meeting based on the reminder settings in their calendar.
