Overview

You may use group distribution email addresses within your organization when sending emails to prospects and you want to know if it is possible to set up email templates in Playbooks with a predefined sender, where the sender is a distribution list email.

Information

Currently, it is not possible to select or set a group email distribution address as the sender for an email template. When sending an email from Playbooks, the sender will automatically be set to the user completing the email task within the Play.  It is also not possible to set the CC field of the email template. However, you can manually add the distribution email address to the CC field when composing the email based on the template.

Note: The feature to set CC/BCC fields on Email Templates has been logged as an enhancement and will be considered for future releases.
