Provide Access to Staging, QA, or Sandbox Environment

Overview

If you have an auxiliary Playbooks organization (environment) you are using as a Sandbox, Staging or QA platform, you might want to add new users to it.

Information

You can add new users to staging and QA sandboxes using the Playbooks Manager Application just like you would for your production system.

You can contact support if you require assistance including the following details:

  • Environment type/name.
  • User details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Username
    • Email
    • Permission Group (Choose between Admin, Manager or Sales Rep.)

In case a customer asks you to add users to one of their sandbox environments you can provide assistance.

Prerequisites

Access to Provision UI tool according to the Access Guide.

Solution

  1. Open Provision UI tool just like you would do for customer instance impersonation, but first, locate the customer and confirm the correct sandbox instance.
  2. Check that requested users do not exist among already created users.
  3. Create requested users.
